Understanding Your Weekly Report: Activity vs Outcome, Explained
Stable Digital Team
Every weekly report you receive is built around two distinct halves — activity and outcome — and understanding the difference makes the report far more useful to actually act on.
Activity: what actually happened
This half answers a simple, factual question: what did your AI agents do this week? How many posts were generated, how many need your approval, how many expired unapproved, how your content plan is progressing. This is always real and always current, drawn directly from what actually ran.
Outcome: what it produced
This half answers a different question: what effect did that activity have? Your rating, your review count, whether AI assistants are naming your business, how your site is performing. These depend on external integrations — your Google Business Profile, your website analytics — being connected.
Why an outcome sometimes says "connecting"
If an integration for a particular metric isn’t connected yet, that section of your report says so plainly rather than showing a zero or an invented number to look complete. A fabricated metric would be actively misleading; an honest "connecting" status tells you exactly what’s still needed and nothing more.
What to actually look at each week
Start with the priorities at the top of your report — they’re written as concrete actions, not vague suggestions. Then check the activity section for anything awaiting your approval. Outcome metrics are worth reviewing for trends over time as more integrations connect and more weeks accumulate.
